The Five Palms is located on Maui's sunny south shore in the town of Kihei. Weddings can take place on the beach or The Manakai oceanfront lawn offers unlimited possibilities. From the casual standing wedding of 20 to the elaborate seated ceremony for 200. Exchange your Wedding Vows while standing barefoot in lush sea breeze fed grass, a Hawaiian Chant stirring your emotions, sounds of palm fronds above you whispering encouragement, the waves sharing secrets of long life.

After capturing the best photos of your life on our warm sands, the Hawaiian Islands and vivid colored clouds a dramatic backdrop to your smiling faces, adjourn to Wedding Dinner at The Five Palms Restaurant, Oceanfront. Their open air fine dining restaurant nestles up to the white sands of Keawakapu Beach. An oasis of swaying palm trees, glittering turquoise waters and frothy Maui waves. Softly lit by Chandeliers and candles on every table, surrounded by Tiki Torches, flowering bushes and Plumeria Trees. Our oceanfront open windows line the ocean and invite the fragrant tropical breezes in to cool and soothe you. The sun sets passionately right in your lap at our beachside intimate tables, as you leisurely dine on award winning Pacific Rim creations and the freshest, innovative Island Seafood.

They will create beautiful custom menus for you and your guests. They have a very good, well priced Wine List and a bevy of scrumptious Tropical Fantasy Drinks. They can arrange billing in the most convenient way that suits your needs. Their Service Staff and Management are experienced in wedding timing, delays and emotions. We really understand what it takes to make an event smooth, satisfying, romantic, fulfilling and very memorable!

If your party will consists of 20 or more guests, then it may be a possibility to have use of the Mana Kai lawn for your ceremony, provided you are hosting a full sit down dinner reception at Five Palms. Currently, there is no site fee imposed, however, the do charge a nominal fee of $50-$100 for clearing and setting up, to cover their labor, which includes the use of our chairs at no additional charge. If other chairs are preferred, you are welcome to bring in rentals.

Following the ceremony, many couples will host a pupus and cocktails hour for their guests to enjoy while they are having photos taken. You can opt to hold your cocktails and pupus hour at your dining tables or outside on the oceanfront Mana Kai lawn.

To have the cocktail hour on the lawn, we will need to apply with Maui County for a permit to extend our premises. The application fee of $100 is deferred to the client. They will provide 3 tables at no additional charge. If you would prefer more there will be an added set up fee. This is a great addition as it creates a smooth progression from cocktail party to dinner. An added bonus is that your tables remain beautifully appointed and untouched awaiting your arrival. The reception appetizer menu will be the basis for your cocktail hour menu.
They offer a great discount on mai tais. We highly recommend this as it eliminates the waiting period while everyone in the party orders, then drinks are made and finally served to each guest, and it puts people into a festive mood, instantly, to be offered a tropical beverage upon arrival. They can offer you this special pricing for the duration of your cocktail hour, or you can simply offer it as a welcome beverage.

We do offer the option of having a dance floor if you are hosting your event with exclusive use of our main dining room. The fee to add this option is $250, which covers the necessary permit and extra staffing level required by Maui County. Amplified music is only permitted within the Main Dining Room, while music on the Patio or Lawn area must be Non-Amplified. Music volume level will be regulated by the Manager on Duty, and will need to end by 10:00PM.
